First Night of Chanukah

On the First Night of Chanukah Mikey got a Train set and Kaia got a horse and rider
Kaia wore her Miracle shirt
And we lit real candles and did our Chanukah felt board

They passed out glow sticks for the kids to pretend to light the GIANT Menorah
The kids also got gelt and latkes.
And they decorated cookies.

Mikey's First Hair Cut

Mikey got his first hair cut today. Doesn't he look so old now he looks like a three year old to me now. He is such a big boy.
Kaia was a very supportive big sister through the whole thing
He was so GOOD. He didn't cry once and he sat quietly through the whole thing. There was a little boy next to him was screaming and crying so I expected Mikey to start crying too. Instead Mikey looked at him and the little boy stopped crying and just stared at Mikey for the rest of his hair cut without crying again. It was kind of cool. Mikey was his source of support =)




A little concerned but still so good.

I was a little surprised at how much hair was cut off I always thought his hair was pretty thin but there was a lot of it. We got a certificate and a baggy of Mikey's golden locks to take home. I am putting it in his baby book.

Chankukah Day at Kaia's School

Kaia helped teach her class about Chanukah, We made Latkes, built Menorah's with playdough, lit a real Menorah, read Chanukah stories, sang Chanukah songs, Played Dreidels, we even danced the Horah...really the whole class even the teachers and in the end Kaia passed out chocolate Gelt to all her friends.

So Mikey was supposed to be napping and this is what I found when I checked on him.

And Kaia loves Olivia. She loves the books we have them all. She has THREE Olivia dolls, a tiny dress up Olivia toy, a blanket and I am sure there is more can I say a bit obsessed.
